A free workshop for creative northerners! There are only a few spaces left so you must apply by 1st September!
Flash Frame Film and Video Network, and the The Bay Street Film Festival in partnership with Keewaytinook Okimakanak – K-net and KORI present an intensive five day training opportunity for the Northern Ontario film, television and digital media production community.
The workshop is funded by Canada Council of the Arts with support from The National Film Board of Canada. The workshop is free but there are limited spaces.

Where: Thunder Bay, Ontario
‘Docs North” is a fully sponsored five day intensive, hands on training opportunity designed to equip Northern Ontario film and media makers from isolated Northern communities with the skills necessary to produce drama, documentary and interactive media projects.
Sessions will be conducted by leading film, television and digital media experts from across Canada and Nunavut. A few of the Mentors: Amit Bruer, Manfred Becker, Alethea Arnaquq-Baril, Eugene Mishibinijima, Kelly Saxberg

Flash Frame will provide transportation, 6 nights accommodation and meals for 8-10 Northern Ontario filmmakers from remote communities north of Thunder Bay. There will be an additional 15 spaces available for filmmakers residing in or near Thunder Bay.
